Delicious pickled tomatoes according to a new recipe. We will procure them in plastic bottles! You know how delicious it turns out! They taste like barrels, no worse. Try it, I think you will like it too.

Ingredients:

tomato
onion
garlic
salt
hot pepper
Bay leaf
peppercorns
* carrots (optional)
* celery (optional)

So first a few words about bottles. I take 5-liter from the water. Cut off the top of the bottle so that the tomatoes pass. By the way, instead of a bottle, you can also use large plastic buckets in which, for example, marinated kebabs are sold.

Now the recipe itself. We need 4 kg of tomato. We take tomatoes of the same variety (!), About the same size, so that they ferment at the same time.

Wash the tomatoes thoroughly and dry them with paper towels. Cut 2 onions into 4 pieces and place them on the bottom of the bottle. Place 1 carrot, cut into thick rings. You can cook without carrots, here are your taste preferences.

We put one pod of hot pepper, cut into 3-4 parts, 3 bay leaves, 6-8 peas of black pepper, you can put more celery, but we don't like it, so we ferment without it. We put the tomatoes, knock a little on the bottle so that they are tamped.

We take 4 tablespoons of salt and dissolve them in two glasses of cold boiled water. Fill the tomatoes with the resulting brine, then add cold water to the very top.

Cover the bottle with gauze on top and leave to ferment in a dark place. The tomatoes will be ready in two weeks. It turns out very tasty, be sure to try! Bon appetit, friends!
