Before, I did not know that garlic arrows can be pickled and make different dishes out of them. I always cut them off in the country, but recently I have not thrown away such a delicacy, and I do not advise you. Today I offer my recipe for pickled arrows. A very tasty appetizer is obtained for meat, and for any dish in general.
Ingredients:
garlic arrows
salt
sugar
water
vinegar
Bay leaf
allspice
We need about 1 kg of garlic arrows. Wash them well, cut them into a length of about 5-7 cm. In general, you can cut as you wish.
We sterilize the jars. In each jar, put a bay leaf on the bottom (if the jars are small, then half) and 2-3 allspice peas. Then we put chopped garlic arrows in jars. You can add dill twigs to them, as well as any spices to your taste, for example, cloves, etc.
Fill the arrows with boiling water, cover with lids and leave for 10-12 minutes. Then we pour the water into a saucepan and put it on the stove - we will prepare the marinade. It takes about 2 liters of water for 1 kg of shooters.
Add salt and sugar to the water. Salt for 2 liters needs 3 tablespoons. You need exactly the same amount of sugar. As soon as it boils and the salt and sugar dissolve completely, remove from the stove and add 2 tablespoons of vinegar 9% and fill the arrows with the resulting marinade.
We close the jars or roll them up with sterilized lids, turn them upside down and leave to cool. Then we put it in a cool place. I keep pickled garlic arrows in the refrigerator.
A delicious appetizer for meat dishes is ready. I also sometimes add them to salads. Very tasty, cook it, you won't regret it! Bon appetit, friends!
