No vinegar! Only useful and affordable ingredients to meet winter fully armed. Well, a very unusual salad, you have never done something like this.
My family liked it, this year I'm rolling for the second time already.
Ingredients:
2 kg of apples (Antonovka, Simirenko, Slavianka, etc. late)
3 kg beetroot (bordeaux)
1.5 kg of carrots
6 tbsp. l. salt
1 tbsp. l. Sahara
300 ml vegetable oil
3 glasses of water
How to cook:
1. Beets must be washed and boiled or baked in the oven for 30 minutes. Then peel and grate.
Important! All three main ingredients will be grated. You need to do this on the same one. In terms of the size of the straw: medium or large.
2. Wash the apples also and grate without peeling. Do the same with carrots.
3. Mix the beets, apples and carrots in a saucepan or salad bowl. Pour in vegetable oil and water, add salt and sugar.
4. Bring the contents of the saucepan to a boil and simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes. The carrots and apples should be the same color as the beets.
Important! Various spices and seasonings can be added to this salad. For example, garlic, bay leaf, peppercorns or allspice.
And also 50 ml of vinegar 9%, if storage is planned in an apartment.
5. Put the prepared salad in hot sterilized jars. Roll up boiled lids, cool under a blanket and store.
We eat this appetizer on bread, like a sandwich or with fried potatoes.
And my sister often adds it to the salad "Herring under a fur coat", vinaigrette and even to borscht when she is spinning with young children. Says - this blank is just "help".
