Today I will share a recipe for delicious, juicy and easy-to-cook fish cakes. The most difficult thing in this recipe is to separate the fish meat from the bones, everything else happens in a few minutes.
So, for cutlets this time I took pink salmon, a dryish fish, but even from it wonderful cutlets are obtained. I washed the fish well and separated the meat from the bones and skin. The result is 260 grams of pure meat. Then I peeled one medium-sized onion and chopped it with a blender.
I added one egg to the onion and beat it again. Then I sent all the prepared meat to a blender and chopped it well into a homogeneous mass.
In the resulting minced meat, I added 4 tablespoons of chopped oatmeal, a little dried dill, salt and pepper to taste. The minced meat must be mixed well and left for at least an hour.
Next, you need to add the main secret ingredient to the minced meat - sour cream., 2 tablespoons. It is better to add cottage cheese, but I know that many will say "fu" 🤢, here everyone will choose for themselves the option they like. Sour cream should be put in maximum fat content, ideally if it is homemade.
The minced fish needs to be mixed well and formed into cutlets, from the total amount I got 6 pieces. If the minced meat turns out to be a little thin, then you can add 1-2 tablespoons of oatmeal.
Fry cutlets in olive oil for 4-5 minutes on each side. At home I like "crispy" cutlets, so I cook them until they are very golden brown.
