🖐 Yesterday my husband suddenly remembered that for a very long time I had not cooked donuts for him. To be honest, I don't really like donuts, but since I received a request, I had to cook 😏. I remembered one recipe for donut dough, which is prepared without yeast, quickly and without unnecessary "hassle", and the result is very tasty. To prepare the dough, you will need kefir, not necessarily the freshest. Here is a complete list of ingredients:
kefir 250 ml
1 egg
sugar to taste
butter 30 grams
Vegetable oil 3-4 tbsp. spoons
a pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon soda
Flour 380-400 grams
I add an egg, sugar to kefir (2 tbsp. spoons because I have a sweet filling), salt and soda, mix well. Next I add butter and flour. The flour should be added gradually, the dough should stick a little to your hands.
When the flour is all mixed in, you can add vegetable oil. The dough must be mixed well and left to "rest" for 5 minutes.
In the meantime, you can put a frying pan with oil on the stove to heat up.
Roll out the dough at least 1 centimeter thick and make future donuts using a glass of a convenient diameter.
I send the blanks to a slightly below average fire, heat until golden brown on both sides.
I put the finished donuts on a paper towel.
As a filling for donuts, the husband preferred boiled condensed milk 😋.
