The other day I found a very cool recipe for making Indian flatbreads "Bhaturi". And for almost a week now I have been tirelessly cooking them instead of bread, they turn out to be very soft and fluffy, they do not stale for a long time, and cooking is a sheer pleasure, I do not even use a rolling pin... Such cakes are good with butter for breakfast, and with pate, and with hot soup, just delicious!
To make cakes, you need a minimum of products, almost everyone has everything at home.
So, in a bowl, I mix flour, salt, sugar and baking soda. I stir with a spatula.
Then gradually I begin to add kefir, gradually stirring the dough. The main thing here is not to overdo it with flour, the dough should not be very steep, it may stick a little to your hands.
When the dough is ready, I grease my hands with a little vegetable oil and knead it again so that it is convenient to work with it. I divide the dough into 6 equal parts.
I shape each piece of dough into a flat circle with my hands greased with vegetable oil. Sprinkle sesame seeds on each side so that they stick well to the dough.
Now I fry each cake in vegetable oil over medium heat until golden brown, this takes literally a few minutes, just during this time I have time to prepare the next cake for frying. And just like that, literally in 10 minutes I manage to cook cakes for dinner, this amount is enough for us for a couple of days.
Ingredients:
kefir - one and a half glasses
sugar - 2 teaspoons
soda - 1 level teaspoon
salt - 1 teaspoon
flour - 400-450 grams
Sesame seeds about 1 tablespoon
