Today I want to bring to your attention a recipe for express pies with cabbage - but only in a slightly different version. The taste is the same, but much easier and faster.
Cooking ingredients:
For the test:
Warm water - 250 ml
Dry yeast - 1 tsp l
Sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
Salt - 1 tsp l.
Flour - 1.5 cups (250 ml glass)
For filling:
White cabbage - 400 g
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Salt, black pepper, spices - to taste
A little vegetable oil for frying
Let's start cooking ...
Pour water warmed up slightly warmer than room temperature into a bowl. Pour in dry yeast and sugar, stir.
Sift flour into water with yeast. It may need more or less by one or two spoons, so it is better to add it in portions.
Stir until smooth, viscous dough without lumps. In consistency, it will be slightly thicker than sour cream. We cover, leave to rise for an hour.
Cooking the filling. First, peel and chop the onions, then pour a little vegetable oil into the pan, put the onions and fry until soft.
Then add chopped cabbage, put salt, pepper, spices - everything to taste, mix and simmer under the lid for about 20-25 minutes, until the cabbage becomes soft. Next, cool the finished filling.
In an hour, the dough will rise well, become fluffy, airy.
Now add the cooled cabbage to the dough, mix well so that the filling is evenly distributed. You can leave for 15 minutes to rest or fry the pancakes right away - in any case, they will turn out to be soft and fluffy.
Next, pour vegetable oil into the pan, heat it up. We spread a tablespoon of dough, and fry for about 3 minutes over medium heat on each side.

On average, it turns out about 25-30 pieces of lush, very tasty pancakes, which taste exactly like pies with cabbage. You can serve it with tomato or sour cream sauce. Cook, taste, Bon appetit!
