Today I want to offer you a recipe for very tasty, juicy steamed chicken cutlets. I noticed that recently I published everything fried, fatty, and decided to "unload" the menu a little - definitely, steamed chicken cutlets are healthier than fried ones.
And, moreover, this time we are preparing such cutlets without using a steamer ... Let's use a colander!
Cooking ingredients:
Chicken fillet - 600-700 g
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Milk - 150 ml
Chicken egg - 1 pc.
Loaf slices - 2 pcs.
Salt, black pepper, spices - to taste
First of all, we take two slices of a loaf or white bread, break it into small pieces, put it in a bowl and fill it with milk. We are waiting for about 10 minutes, the crumb should soften.
Meanwhile, roll the chicken fillet through a meat grinder, together with peeled onions. To make the cutlets more tender, it is better to install a fine grid on the meat grinder. When the loaf slices are softened, we also scroll them through a meat grinder and add to the minced chicken. Here we break the egg, salt and pepper to our liking. You can also add some spices and dried herbs. We mix everything.
Now you can form the cutlets and put them in a double boiler - but, I indicated that these cutlets cooked without a steamer, because not everyone has it... In this case, we take a saucepan, fill it with water, install a colander on top (only metal, in no case plastic), put the formed cutlets into it (there is how much will fit here), cover with a suitable lid and put on fire. And, in this form, the cutlets will be steamed for 30-40 minutes.
And, these cutlets are obtained - tender, juicy, very tasty and healthy! Cook, taste, Bon appetit!
