If you like salted or pickled fish, and prefer to cook it yourself, then I want share with you one cool recipe (maybe not new for someone) of pickled salmon with mustard. But, this is really the easiest and most delicious pickling method!
And, here's what is needed for cooking:
Fresh salmon - 300-350 g
Dijon mustard - 1 tsp l.
Salt - 1 tsp l. not quite complete
Sugar - 1/2 tsp l.
Ground black pepper - to taste
Some dried dill
Now we are preparing:
For cooking, you can use fresh fish or even frozen, of course, defrost it beforehand. We cut the purchased fish into fillets, remove bones, and even skin. In the future (ready-made), such a fish is used as an appetizer, or for making sandwiches, canapes, and it can also be added to salads... Cut the prepared fillet into small cubes and put in a bowl.
Sprinkle the prepared salmon with salt, black pepper, sugar, add a little dried dill and a full teaspoon of Dijon (or French) mustard ...
... So, mix everything. And notice, lemon or vinegar, and even oil is not added here! Leave the salmon in a bowl at room temperature for 15 minutes - during this time the grains of sugar and salt will dissolve. Then mix the contents again, cover with a lid and put in the refrigerator for 4 hours... During this time, stir the fish at least a couple of times to marinate evenly. Cook, taste, Bon appetit... And how delicious it is!
