Perhaps, once - when there was no Internet, the menu in the post was quite meager... But, with the advent of such a miracle, the recording of culinary recipes knows no bounds! No need to beg for a recipe from a neighbor or girlfriend - everything can be found on the World Wide Web!
The other day I found a recipe for lean potato pancakes - I have never done such! And, this is a very cool recipe, a good combination of ingredients - I liked the dish, so I want to share this recipe with you!
Cooking ingredients:
Raw potatoes - 3-4 pcs. (500 g)
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Dry yeast - 1.5 tsp l.
Water - 150 ml
Sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
Vegetable oil - 3-4 tbsp. l. (into dough)
Salt, black pepper, spices - to taste
Flour 350-380 g
Vegetable oil for frying pancakes
Let's get started ...
First you need to make a dough - pour yeast, sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour into a bowl, taken into account the total amount ...
... and pour in warm water, not higher than 40 degrees, stir, put a bowl of future dough in a warm place, for 15 minutes.
In the meantime, we peel the potatoes and onions, and a little later (so that the potatoes do not have time to darken) we chop them... You can simply scroll in a meat grinder, and if possible, then grind it with an immersion blender. Or grate on a fine grater... And, the best option would be a blender / chopper - the consistency is perfect.
Pour the matched dough into the vegetable mixture, add salt, black ground pepper and possibly some spices to your liking, pour in the vegetable oil, mix.
Now, sift the flour and knead... such a heterogeneous, but rather thick dough.
It should drain thickly from the spoon / fork, spatula. We put the bowl with such a dough in a warm place again, this time it will stand there for about an hour. During this time, it is advisable to stir the dough at least once, and then do not disturb it.
Fry the lean potato pancakes in a well-heated frying pan, over medium heat, with the addition of a small amount of vegetable oil, on both sides until golden brown... And, at the same time, the pan must be closed with a lid. And then we transfer the fried pancakes to kitchen paper towels in order to get rid of excess oil. Cook, taste, Bon appetit!
