Looking for simple and affordable baking recipes, then you've come to the address... On my channel, I have already published many recipes for various homemade pastries, and I think you will definitely like something.

Some time ago I published a recipe for "Lazy" khachapuri or simple cheese cakes, the preparation of which will take you no more than 15 minutes.

And, if you have not seen this recipe yet, I will leave a link to it at the bottom of this article.

Today I want to bring to your attention another recipe for simple and delicious tortillas, with a minimum set of ingredients. The dough is kneaded with kefir, it turns out to be very soft, and there is no need to roll the cakes with a rolling pin.

Cooking ingredients:

Kefir - 200 ml
Sour cream - 50 g
Vegetable oil - 3-4 tbsp. l.
Sugar and salt - to taste and need
Baking powder - 1 tsp l.
Flour - 300-350 g
A little vegetable oil for frying cakes

Let's get started ...

Pour kefir, vegetable oil into a bowl, put sour cream, and add salt and sugar to taste... If the cakes are "instead of bread" - just add 1/2 tsp. l. salt and that's it. If the option is "for tea", add another tablespoon of sugar. We mix all this.

Sift flour with baking powder and knead soft, even sticky dough. Do not hammer it heavily with flour, otherwise the cakes will be tough. Cover the bowl with a towel and let the dough rest for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, put it out of a bowl on a table sprinkled with flour, knead it a little, and divide it into a certain number of parts... How many parts you divide, so many cakes will turn out. I divide it into 4 parts, it turns out the same amount of cakes in a pan with a diameter of 26 cm.

And, here you don't even need to get a rolling pin... The dough is so soft and manageable that it is enough to knead it with your fingers into a cake.

Fry the cakes in a preheated pan, each time adding a little vegetable oil (3 tbsp. l.), until ruddy.

The cakes remain soft even on the second day! Cook, taste, Bon appetit!
