Surely, during the current month - with forced self-isolation, many housewives, willingly... And, reluctantly !!! spend more time in the kitchen - delighting their loved ones with new dishes and pastries.

Today I want to offer you a recipe for kefir pie stuffed with potatoes and chicken liver. The pie is very satisfying, delicious and I think many will like it!

Cooking ingredients:

For the test:
Kefir - 250 ml
Butter - 180 g
Soda - 1/2 tsp l.
Salt - 1 pinch
Wheat flour - 600 g
For filling:
Chicken liver - 350 g
Potatoes - 400 g
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Greens to taste
Salt, black pepper
To grease the cake: one chicken egg (or just the yolk)

Let's get started ...

Pour kefir into a bowl, pour in melted butter, put salt, soda and mix.

Next, in 2-3 passes, add the sifted flour, and knead a soft, pleasant to the touch dough that does not stick to your hands at all. We put this in a plastic bag (food) or wrap it in plastic, and remove the refrigerator for an hour.

To prepare the filling, rinse the chicken liver, and then boil it in salted water for about 10 minutes. Then let it cool.

And, separately cook 3-4 potatoes in their skins. Then cool and peel.

We cut both the liver and the potatoes into cubes, put them in a bowl, add the diced greens (I like it more with dill).

Salt, pepper to taste, mix. The filling is ready!

Divide the dough from the refrigerator into 2 parts - larger and smaller.

First, roll out a piece of dough, which is larger and put it in a baking dish (diameter 24 cm), closing the bottom and making sides, 5 cm high. Putting the filling.

Now pinch off a small part from the remaining piece of dough - this is for decoration... You don't have to.

Roll out the rest of the dough in the same way as the first part, and close the pie filling. We pinch the edges. And from the remains we make some decorations in the form of petals, flowers ...

Lubricate the surface of the pie with an egg or just yolk. Or even just milk - there will also be a beautiful ruddy crust!

We bake the pie in the oven preheated to 180 degrees - 25-30 minutes. Cook, taste, Bon appetit!
