You always want something sweet and tasty for a cup of tea or coffee. And what could be better than homemade baked goods! And if, in addition, it will be fast and inexpensive baking, then homemade tea will be doubly pleasant!

Just a week ago, I published a recipe for both soft and crunchy brushwood, the preparation of which requires only 3 ingredients. I will publish a link to this recipe at the end of this article.

And today I want to offer you a recipe for a simple cookie that you can whip up. The biscuits are soft with a thin crispy crust.

Cooking ingredients:

Butter - 120 g
Sugar - 120 g
Chicken eggs - 1 pc.
Milk - 150 ml
Salt - a pinch
Baking powder - 2 tsp l.
Flour - about 500 g
For flavor you can add: or vanillin, or lemon zest, orange ...

Let's get started ...

Put the sliced ​​butter in a bowl, add sugar, a pinch of salt and use a spatula to grind until soft. If the oil is taken out of the refrigerator in advance at least half an hour, it will have time to become soft and the procedure will be faster. But, in any case, the result will be the same.

Now pour in the milk, break the egg and add something for flavoring - I have vanillin, but you can also add some citrus zest.

We mix.

First, sift part of the flour (about 300 grams) together with baking powder, mix.

Then add the remaining flour and knead the soft, non-sticky dough.

We divide the dough into several parts - this is more convenient to work with.

We roll each part into a tourniquet, 2-3 cm in diameter and cut into small pieces - you can slightly obliquely, it will be more interesting. And you can cook other options for cookies, for example, just roll balls, or roll them into a layer and cut out round juices.

We spread the cookie blanks on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper - it may not fit on one baking sheet, there is a lot of dough.

We bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Do not expect the cookies to brown a lot, if overexposed, they will be tough. Cook, taste, enjoy your tea!
