You can cook many different delicious dishes from minced meat - in the arsenal of each housewife there are many recipes for their preparation.
Today I want to suggest you use minced meat for cooking unusual "cutlets with a surprise" - this is a delicious, hearty dish - no side dish is needed for such cutlets. And you don't have to stand at the stove!
And at the bottom of this publication I will leave a few more links to other minced meat recipes, previously published by me, and which many of my subscribers have already appreciated. Read on - perhaps tomorrow you will want to cook some of this for yourself for lunch or dinner!
Ingredients for making "surprise cutlets":
Minced meat - 500 g
Small potatoes - 500 g
Bulb onions - 1-2 pcs.
Chicken eggs - 1 pc.
Greens
Crackers - 3 tbsp. l.
Hard cheese - 50-70 g
Tomato juice - 1 glass, or 2-3 tbsp. l. tomato paste + water
Salt, black pepper, spices to taste
Let's start cooking ...
First of all, we put potatoes to cook "in their uniforms" - about 8-10 pieces. Young potatoes have already appeared - small in size, this would be an ideal option. And after the potatoes are cooked, we cool them and peel them.
Meanwhile, while the potatoes are boiling, we are doing the rest of the preparation of the products. Peel and finely chop the onions, or grate them - you can use other methods of healing.
Then we take ready-made minced meat, add an egg to it.
We put finely chopped greens - in my case, this is dill, but you can use any to your liking, salt, black pepper and some spices for meat - again, this is to your liking.
Then add chopped onion, bread crumbs and mix everything well.
And now we begin to form "cutlets with a surprise" - we take about 80 g of minced meat, we form a cake right in the palm of our hand, put one boiled potato in the middle ...
And we pinch the edges of the meat cake around the potato, forming an oblong cutlet.
We transfer the prepared "cutlets with a surprise" into a suitable baking dish - and if there are still a few boiled potatoes left, cut them and put them between the cutlets.
Pour a glass of tomato juice - if there is no tomato juice, you can dilute a few tablespoons of tomato paste in water. And put in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for about half an hour.
And after half an hour, the cutlets can be sprinkled with grated cheese (or just sliced slices) - if you don't like cheese, you don't have to. We put in the oven for another 5 minutes, the cheese should just melt. It turns out a very tasty, hearty dish - which also looks very nice when served. Cook, taste, Bon appetit!
