Hello, my name is Oksana! I am glad to welcome everyone who has looked at my page. Thanks so much for taking the time to read my recipes! I would be grateful for your comments and subscriptions!
Frankly, do you often buy canned fish? And what do you do with them? Just eat it!
And today I will offer you to cook delicious pancakes from a can of canned fish - this is a great dish to feed your family with a hearty and tasty breakfast!
And at the bottom of this publication I will leave a link to another recipe where I also use canned food - be sure to look - this is a delicious fish soufflé.
Ingredients for making canned pancakes:
Canned fish in oil - 1 can
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Kefir of any fat content - 100 ml
Chicken eggs - 2 pcs.
Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
Greens - a small bunch
Salt, black pepper to taste
Flour - 7-8 tbsp. l.
Vegetable oil - for frying
And now we start cooking ...
You can take any canned fish: sardine, saury, herring, mackerel, horse mackerel, but not in tomato, but in its own juice or in oil filling. We spread the contents of the jar together with the liquid in a bowl and knead with a fork into a gruel. There is no need to choose the bones, they are very soft, after grinding they are not felt at all.
Pour in kefir at room temperature, mix.
Then add finely chopped onion and herbs. You can use any greens to your taste, and break the eggs.
Next, sift the flour with baking powder, and add black pepper or other similar spices. Mix - the pancake dough is ready!
Pour a little vegetable oil into the pan - literally 2-3 tablespoons, it shouldn't even cover the bottom. Warm up and spread about a tablespoon of dough. Fry the pancakes on 2 sides, literally 2 minutes on each side until a characteristic golden brown crust is formed. From this amount, an average of 15 pancakes are obtained. If you have never tried to cook such pancakes, be sure to try them - they are really very tasty. Cook, taste, Bon appetit!
