Layered "Sugar snails" on kefir: delicious, quick baked goods for tea from minimal products

Hello, my name is Oksana, and I am very glad to welcome all my regular subscribers, and even just casual readers, to my culinary channel. Read, comment, and of course, Subscribe - I try to add a new recipe to my page every day!

Today I want to bring to your attention a recipe for a very simple and delicious cookies on kefir - a minimum set of products, in a small amount! And, it prepares very quickly. These cookies are nice to serve with warm homemade tea!

Cooking ingredients:

Kefir (any fat content) - 150 ml
Chicken egg - 1 pc.
Vegetable oil - 70 ml
Sugar - 50 g (in dough)
Baking powder - 1 tsp l.
Salt - a pinch
Flour - 400-420 g
+ sugar for deboning cookies (1-2 tbsp. l.)

Pour kefir into a bowl (it can be cold), add sugar, vegetable oil, chicken egg, salt, and break it with a whisk or fork into a homogeneous mixture.

Sift the flour together with the baking powder, and knead the soft, slightly sticky dough, but at the same time leaving no marks on the hands. And, right away, we start making cookies.

Divide the dough into equal small pieces, weighing 40-45 g, round.

Using a rolling pin or simply with our hands, roll out / stretch each piece into a thin cake - the thinner the cakes are, the more layered the cookies will be.

We twist the cakes into tubes, and slightly pulling the ends to the side we turn the "snail". Bend the tail under the "snail".

Now put some sugar on some flat plate, and dip each cookie cutter in it with the upper beautiful side.

We put the cookies on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, and ...

... bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
