Salted mackerel, a simple dry salted recipe

I no longer buy lightly salted mackerel in the store when I learned this salting recipe! Mackerel is a very healthy fish. It can be used to prepare salads and snacks, or serve with a hearty side dish. I suggest one of the simplest ways to salt mackerel at home.

Before the ambassador, the mackerel must be thawed, rinsed under running water. Remove the head and entrails from the fish. Especially carefully remove the black film from the belly, it gives the fish bitterness.

LIGHT-SALT DRY AMBER MACKER

Ingredients:
Fresh frozen mackerel 1pc (800g)
Salt 3 tbsp
Sugar 1 tbsp
Ground black pepper 1/4 tsp
Nutmeg 1/3 tsp
Ground bay leaf 1/4 tsp

Mix dry ingredients: salt, sugar, pepper, nutmeg, ground bay leaf, you can also take a whole leaf and put it inside the fish.

Put the fish on a baking foil and rub well with the dry mixture inside and on top.

Wrap tightly in foil and transfer to food bag, refrigerate for 4 days. Remove salt and spice residues with a paper towel before use.

Dry salted mackerel turns out to be lightly salted, saturated with spices, dense, well cut into pieces.

Put potatoes to boil and chop the fish. Have a nice appetite!
