Chicken casserole with cottage cheese turns out to be very tasty and juicy. It is perfect for a family dinner.
Cut 0.5 kg of chicken fillet into small pieces.
Twist the remaining 0.5 kg fillet in a meat grinder.
We also twist 300 g of cottage cheese of any fat content in a meat grinder.
Preparing the sautéing. Cut 2 onions into cubes.
2 carrots, three on a fine grater.
First, put the onion in a preheated pan with a small amount of vegetable oil and sauté until golden brown. Then add grated carrots to it and sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
In a bowl, mix the minced meat and cottage cheese twisted in a meat grinder. add to them sautéed vegetables, 2 tbsp. l. bran or bread crumbs (you can also soak bread in water or milk and squeeze). Here we break 1 egg, salt and pepper everything to taste. Mix everything well.
Add the rest of the minced meat to the mixed mass.
Grease the baking dish with butter. Put the meat mixture into the prepared form. The size of my form is 26cm * 16cm
We put in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for about 40 minutes.
After 40 min. Grease the casserole with tomato sauce and bake for another 10 minutes.
