Surely everyone has their own favorite way of cooking buckwheat. I want to share mine. Maybe someone will like my recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 cup buckwheat
- 1 small onion
- 1 small carrot
- Vegetable oil for frying (amount of oil to your taste)
- Seasonings that you like (I prefer suneli hops)
Steps
Rinse a glass of buckwheat with water. Then put in a dry deep frying pan and fry. When the cereal dries up and a delicious buckwheat smell appears, add water. (2 glasses are supposed, but I pour it by eye, if anything, you can add).
Until the buckwheat reaches, finely chop the onion, rub the carrots and fry in vegetable oil. I add suneli hops and then the aroma spreads through the kitchen incredible.
After the buckwheat is cooked and the onions and carrots are fried, combine them together. Stirring, fry for another five minutes. Close the lid and turn off the stove. Buckwheat should be infused and absorb the aroma of roasting.
This side dish can be eaten as a separate dish, because it turns out incredibly tasty. But you can also do it with sausages, cutlets, stews, stews and even salads. Bon Appetit!
