Ingredients

  • For the test:
  • 4 pcs Eggs
  • 1.2 kg Flour
  • 12 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 3 cups Water
  • 2 tsp Vodka optional for crisper crust
  • For filling:
  • 1 kg Minced duck
  • 3 pcs Large onions
  • 1 pc bell pepper
  • 0.5-1 tsp Allspice
  • to taste Ground black pepper, salt
  • 1 tsp, Provencal herbs or other dried herbs
  • 1 liter Vegetable oil for frying

Steps

Pour sugar, salt into a bowl, pour in vegetable oil, break eggs, mix. Add water, stir. Pour in vodka as desired.

Gradually add sifted flour, knead the dough. Knead well, wrap in plastic wrap and let stand for 30 minutes. While the dough is resting, prepare the filling: fry the minced duck with onions and peppers in vegetable oil, salt, add spices and herbs. Cool down.

Knead the rested dough. Divide into 3-4 parts. If the size of the table allows, into 2 parts. Roll out, cut out circles with a saucer or bowl. Blind pasties.
