The dough is airy, bubbly, snow-white. When frying, the pies swell up several times, they turn out like fluff, with a crispy crust.
This dough can be used to make whites or pies with potatoes.
Ingredients
- 500 ml water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 25 g fresh yeast
- 1 tsp vodka
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 750 g flour
- 500 g cabbage
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- ground black pepper
- 1 liter of oil for frying
Steps
1.Mix warm water, yeast and sugar, leave for 15 minutes, add vodka, salt, vegetable oil, mix, add flour.
2. Introduce flour gradually, in parts, knead for 5-7 minutes. Cover with a towel and leave for 30 minutes.
3. Prepare the filling: stew the cabbage together with salt, sugar and tomato paste, covered for 30 minutes.
4. Divide the dough into 17 equal pieces
From each piece of dough, form a cake with your hands, put the filling 40g, pinch the edges, form pies, fry in vegetable oil on both sides for 7 minutes.
