Hearty salad with chicken can be a great competitor to the traditional "Olivier". It should save the recipe.
Holiday Recipe meat salad
Ingredients:
Chicken breast - 250 g
Onion - 1 pc
Carrots - 1 pc larger size
Boiled potatoes - 5-7 pc
Chicken egg - 3 pcs
Canned peas - 120 g
Salt and pepper - to taste
Vegetable oil - 50 ml
Mayonnaise - 350 g
Gelatin - 10 g
Preparation:
1. Boil eggs and potatoes.
Potatoes and eggs, cut into small cubes.
2. Clean the carrots and onions and cut them into small cubes.
3. Fry on a hot vegetable oil, onion and carrot.
4. Add to the pan chicken breast, cut into small pieces, and cook, stirring often, for 15 minutes.
5. Fried breast with vegetable mix with potatoes and eggs.
6. Salt and pepper to taste.
7. Then add part canned peas and mayonnaise (about 150 g). Mix well.
8. Gelatin soaked in a small amount of water for 10 minutes.
Then dissolve gelatin, heating in a water bath or in a microwave oven (not boiling).
9. Mix gelatin with the remaining mayonnaise.
10. A deep salad bowl lined with cling film and send it in the freezer for 10-15 minutes to cool down a good salad.
Then 2/3 mayonnaise jelly spread in a salad bowl and uniformly smeared over the walls and bottom of a thin layer.
Since the cold salad bowl itself, the jelly will be quickly set.
Quickly send it in the fridge until the jelly is not a good grab.
11. Put the prepared salad in salad bowl, distribute the remaining mayonnaise on top of jelly.
Ship in the refrigerator until complete solidification of the upper layer.
13. Ready salad turn over on a flat plate, remove the plastic wrap.
Decorate the salad to your liking.
