Traditional herbalists say that winter viburnum berries help get rid of sore throats.
We periodically drink viburnum tea with hypothermia to keep warm and so on just in case for prevention.
After all, winter berries: cranberries, mountain ash, viburnum, etc. are specially created by nature for the cold season to help people and birds. Therefore, we do not miss such a chance to use this gift of nature.
Ingredients:
1. Viburnum berries - a couple of bunches
2. Honey - 1 tsp the spoon
3. Red pepper powder - on the tip of a knife
4. Water - 1 glass
5. Favorite tea - a pinch (without it)
Preparation
We find the viburnum tree, take the berries (not all, we leave the wintering birds). We leave them on the balcony, in the hallway or in the refrigerator (they are perfectly stored not only frozen, but also simply cool). Then, if necessary, we take a bunch, rinse, separate the berries from the branches.
We put berries in a mug, add pepper (for better sugry), crush the berries with a wooden spoon, add infusions of our favorite tea (usually unroasted tea). Fill with hot water or boiling water (as you like) and enjoy your tea.
You can grind the berries with water using a blender, so useful substances are also extracted from the berry bones (viburnum bones are shaped like hearts, and they say that they even help to avoid heart attack)
It is good to take such tea with you in a thermos to nature (for example, on a ski trip). More positive emotions: winter berry teas, fresh air and movement, friends!
