A spicy Korean-style snack is pickled cauliflower. Even those who do not like cabbage will like it. By the way, the recipe is perfect for those who are fasting.
Ingredients:
cauliflower
carrot
sweet pepper
garlic
vinegar
salt
sugar
seasoning for Korean salads
vegetable oil
water
So, we need about 300 grams of cauliflower. We disassemble it into inflorescences and cook in salted water for 3 minutes after boiling. Then we put the cabbage in a colander. If you have frozen cauliflower, this will work as well.
Now let's prepare the marinade for our snack. Pour 4 cups of water into a saucepan and place on the stove. Add salt to taste, 3 tablespoons of sugar, and half a glass of vegetable oil. While stirring, bring the mixture to a boil and remove from the stove.
Then add 4 tablespoons of vinegar 9% to the marinade and dip the cauliflower into it.
As soon as the marinade has cooled, add the rest of the ingredients - one bell pepper, chopped into thin strips and one carrot, grated for Korean carrots.
We also cut 3-4 garlic cloves into plates and add to vegetables. We add the Korean seasoning to taste (I usually add 2 teaspoons).
We put the container in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours, or even overnight and you can try. Cabbage, and carrots and peppers are just super! Bon appetit, dear friends!
