In winter, there is also no shortage of greens (if you wish, you can eat and drink it all year round, that is, "always"). We make these green cocktails from November to April.
Ingredients:
1. Wheat - a handful
2. Water - 1 glass (preferably melted)
3. Red peppercorns - 3 pcs (without it)
(you can take other seedlings: oats, barley, pumpkin seeds... or mix)
Preparation
We take sprouted wheat (along with grains, if we want to get a protein-chlorophyll cocktail). In general, it is advisable to take only greens (when it has reached 3 cm), and use wheat grains from the second germinator cup (three-day germination, they are much more useful).
We immersed wheat grains and herbs in a blender container, threw in a pepper (or without it), and added water. Crushed for about a minute, filtered and the "invigorating" green drink is ready (consumed only fresh).
How to germinate wheat (an easy way without unnecessary problems)
We take wheat, pour it into a container (cup), fill it with water, leave it overnight (the grain will wake up). In the morning we drain the water and leave the wheat for a week on the windowsill, every day (rinsing once a day, maintain humidity).
When the greens appear, rinse again (we rinse in water with a few drops of hydrogen peroxide, you can soak it in salted water to remove bacteria). Plus we add pepper to the cocktail for the same purpose.
