The butter should be cold, the eggs should be at room temperature.

  • Separate the egg whites from the egg yolks.
  • Add the yolks to the curd.
  • Add half the sugar there and grind everything with a fork.
  • Chop the chilled butter with a knife.
  • Add baking powder to flour.
  • Stir and sift flour into butter.
  • Make flour and butter crumbs.
  • Pour the resulting crumb into the curd and knead the dough.
  • Send the finished dough to the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Add a pinch of salt to the egg whites and beat until a firm foam is obtained.
  • Add sugar little by little.
  • Remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll out to a thickness of about 5 mm.
  • Spread the meringue evenly over the entire area of ​​the dough.
  • Roll up the roll.
  • Cut the finished roll into 1.5 cm pieces.
  • Arrange them on a baking sheet and send to the oven.
