Depending on how thick you roll out the dough before slicing and the baking time, the taste of the cookies will also depend. You can make the biscuits crisp and crackle-like. Or soft cookies.
Let's cook
I will cook with vegetable oil, but instead of vegetable oil, you can take melted butter, this is according to your taste and desire.
Mix in a bowl
- 60 grams of vegetable oil
- 40 grams of milk at room temperature
- 80 grams of sugar
- 10 grams vanilla sugar
- a pinch of salt
- one whole egg and white from one egg
Mix everything together until smooth.
Further sifting, add
- 290 grams of wheat flour
- 3 grams of baking powder
Knead a soft, elastic dough. The dough should not stick to your hands.
Add flour gradually, you may need a little more or less flour.
You don't need to knead the dough for a long time, it just has to be homogeneous.
We turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
Today I will make cookies with nuts and coconut.
Therefore, I divide the dough in half.
I add coke shavings to one part of the dough, and roasted, chopped peanuts to the second.
You can choose any filler to your taste (dried fruits, chocolate, nuts, coconut, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, sesame seeds).
Roll out the dough into a layer.
The thickness of the bed depends on whether you want crispy or soft cookies.
If you want crunchy, cracker-like cookies, roll out a layer about 2–3 mm thick.
If the biscuits are soft, then roll out a layer about 5-7 mm thick.
Lubricate the rolled layer with yolk and cut into pieces.
We bake on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, in an oven preheated to 180 degrees, until a beautiful golden color.
Biscuits rolled out 2-3 mm thick are baked for about 10-15 minutes, depending on the size of the cookie.
Biscuits, rolled out to a thickness of 5-7 mm, are baked for about 20-25 minutes, depending on the size of the cookie.
The cookies are very tasty, moderately sweet, crumbly. If you like sweet cookies, add more sugar.
