Today I would like to tell how easy and effortless to open a coconut, without using various tools such as a screwdriver, hammer and even a knife. It all started when I recently decided to buy this fruit from hot countries. Since the last time I bought a coconut was several years ago, then forgot how to open it. After several unsuccessful attempts, I asked my husband if he knew effective method. It turned out that he had just read about this recently. Husband way worked great in practice, that's why I'm sharing it with you! I'm sure that everyone who has ever bought a coconut faced the problem of opening it.

We take a coconut (it turns out that a coconut cannot be called a fruit or a nut, but it is drupe or stone fruit such as apricot) and we put it in the freezer.

In four hours stay in the freezer on the coconut will appear half diameter crack fetus, see photo.

Four more hours later a crack forms around the entire coconut, shown in the photo.

After 8-10 hours take the coconut out of the fridge and give it "rest" 4-5 hours at room temperature. After that, without difficulty, we open the fruit with our hands. The peel leaves immediately! If we want juicy and tender pulp, then we do not pour out the milk, when frozen, it will be absorbed (it will not pour out through the crack, checked). If we need milk, then before freezing pour it through one of the three holes in a coconut. I liked the article - rate it like and subscribe to the channel, there are already more than 7,000 of us!
