Today I will tell about the French way of cooking potatoes in the oven. Despite the fact that the Boulanger potatoes are borrowed from French cuisine, they are prepared very simply. I recently tried this recipe with my family and my homemade dish really liked it. I think it will enter our daily menu as an alternative to the standard baked potato.
1. We prepare potatoes (1 kilogram), clean and cut into circles of 1.5-2 millimeters. Onion (2 heads) clean and cut into half rings, garlic (2 cloves) finely chop. Scroll the photo to the right.
2. Lubricate the form butter or pour the already melted and lay in layers - potatoes, onions, garlic, salt, pepper (optional), so we lay out all the vegetables. Milk (400 milliliters) bring to a boil and pour in the potatoes. Cover with foil and put in the oven at temperature 200 degrees for 1 hour. Scroll the photo to the right.
3. After the time has passed, remove the foil, add butter (50 grams), spreading it over the entire surface of the potato and leaving it in the oven for another 30 minutes. 10 minutes before the end of three a little bit of cheese (optional).
