This muffin pudding is full of surprises: pour a glass of hot water over the mixture before baking. And when you cut the cake, you will find that the top layer is chocolate chip cookies with fondant and chocolate chips, and the bottom is hot sauce.
I confess to you honestly that I prepared this cake for the first time, because homemade, spoiled by different desserts, and each time asking for something new. I had never poured hot water over the dough before, so I doubted the result. I followed the recipe strictly, but having prepared it now, I can say for sure what needs to be changed in the classic recipe so that it turns out exactly the way it should be.
For the cupcake we need:
- Flour - 1 glass
- Brown sugar - 1 glass
- Cocoa - ½ cup
- Baking powder - 1 sachet
- Salt-1/2 tsp
- Instant coffee - 1 tablespoon
- Dark chocolate - 1 bar
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
- Hot water - 1 glass
First you need to preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Pour flour into a small bowl, add ½ cup sugar,
¼ cups of cocoa, coffee, baking powder, and salt. Mix everything thoroughly. Then add chocolate to this mixture, which I previously grated.
I used dark chocolate, so the taste of the cake turned out to be bitter, if you want a more delicate taste, you can put milk or white chocolate.
In a small bowl, beat together the milk and vegetable oil,
add vanilla essence (I had it, but if you don’t, then you will not see any difference in principle).
Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix well.
Grease a baking dish with butter and place the dough in the baking dish. Flatten it.
Stir in the remaining ½ cup brown sugar and ¼ cup cocoa. Sprinkle this mixture over the cupcake.
Top with hot water.
We put in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the top of the cake is dry. The main thing here is not to overexpose it in the oven.
According to the recipe, the bottom of the cake should flow, but since I followed a strictly written recipe and kept it in the oven for 40 minutes, it turned out to be moist inside me, but not liquid as it is thought.
You can decorate it with whipped cream before serving, but I love the combination of cold and hot, so I put a scoop of ice cream on a piece of cake. Outwardly, it may not look very presentable, but it is sooo tasty!
Try it! You'll like it! Bon Appetit!
