We really love borscht and chicken soup, but it’s impossible to eat them all the time, especially when everyone is at home in quarantine and we want to eat with a vengeance. All the more you want something sweet and salty)
The other day I cooked pork ribs in pots (the recipe is on the page), and as often happens, I left a little meat for later, and so, last night I already understood how I could use them. Need a soup with ribs. No sooner said than done. As usual, everything is prepared for primitivism quickly and easily.
To make soup, we need:
- Pork ribs 600-700 gr.
- rice - 75 gr.
- onion - 1 pc.
- carrots - 1pc.
- potatoes - 2 pcs.
- greens, spices - optional
Pour water into a saucepan, cut the ribs and set them to cook. To make the broth rich, let them cook for about an hour.
Add 1/3 cup of rice to the broth and cook all together for 15 minutes.
At this time, you need to cut the potatoes into small pieces.
Grate carrots, finely chop onion
and sauté them in a skillet until golden brown.
Add vegetables to the pot and cook for another 10 minutes. Salt at the end. Because I cook soup not only for adults, but also for children, then I don't put any spices.
Turn off the soup and let it brew for a while on the stove.
