Why do I eat eggs without shell (and I advise you)

Admin

With the onset of the era of the pandemic, people are concerned about their health and more and more often on the network they come across advice to eat all kinds of, sorry, muck, to maintain health. These tips were available before, it was just that they were not so) quite a record today!) The number.

Just in the last day came across suggestions:

 - Do not throw out pomegranate skins, tea from them supposedly boosts immunity.

- Do not throw out banana skins (I don’t even want to know where the experts are trying to adapt them, in my opinion, the skins are good only for breeding flies).

-Do not throw out the potato peel, but press it and dry it on batteries while there is heating.

-Do not throw away the eggshells.

Do not discard gnawed bones.

I love food and treat food with respect, and respect the environment. I believe that we (that is, all of humanity) should minimize the production of waste, but, gentlemen, not so much, not so much!

These are the very clever men who offer not to throw anything away, give advice on bones, to grind the shells from eggs and use them for food. Like a source of calcium.

I confess that my eye twitches from such advice. Because a person should get calcium from food, and not from food waste. I know adherents of the theory that it is better to crack eggs with shells, nod towards the chickens - they say, they peck the shells and not only, because they lay strong eggs, which indicates the abundance of calcium in the body.

But excuse me - excuse me, a chicken and a man are two completely different organisms, they have different processes, they produce different enzymes and different hormones. Otherwise, human doctors would be able to treat chickens and vice versa.

What is good for the chicken may not be good for the human at all.

I already wrote once:

Calcium is well absorbed in the chelated form (about 70%), and in the ionic form it forms stones in the kidneys, gallbladder, etc. In addition, the absorption of calcium is influenced by the content of magnesium, phosphorus and vitamin D.
And also - in the presence of sugar, calcium is not absorbed, but excreted ...

If it is so important for you to know that you have eaten enough calcium, it is better to approach the question wisely. There are excellent scientific papers (not too voluminous). I advise you to look for the article "BIOLOGICAL ROLE OF CALCIUM AND THE WAYS OF ITS REPLENISHMENT IN THE HUMAN BODY", authors Spitsyna and Gorlenko.

If you read laziness, then the sources of calcium are known to everyone - milk and dairy products, well, and those who do not really like them (or do not tolerate) some green vegetables (broccoli), nuts, calcium-precipitated bean curd, beans, horseradish, parsley, onions, apricots and dried apricots, apples, dried peaches, pears, sweet almond.

But nutritionists do not mention eggshells anywhere.

So eat eggs without shells! So they are tastier... And do not grind the bones, and discard cleaning. If garbage were so useful, then people would eat only on it ...
