Pancakes are an amazing dish. They can be prepared with yeast dough, or with baking soda. If you are not lazy, you can make a dough for pancakes without soda and without yeast - at the same time, they will turn out to be surprisingly soft and fluffy (but this is already aerobatics for those who are ready to live in the kitchen).
Fritters can be sweet, with apples, nuts, raisins, dried apricots and any dried fruits, they can be with chocolate additives right in the body, or they can be empty.
Pancakes can be made vegetable - and with carrots, and from zucchini, and of course - potato pancakes should not be forgotten!
And serve them - in general with whatever your heart desires, toppings - as many as you like, starting with sour cream and ending with exquisite sauces (the main thing is not to be too lazy to cook).
But I bet you haven't tried these pancakes yet. This is because it is a very unusual recipe in itself, unusual for our cuisine, even alien.
I don't even see England in these pancakes, but Texas. Moreover, the time of the development of the Wild West, at least. Why is that? Well, who, besides cowboys, could have come up with such a recipe, and who, besides cowboys, could be so lucky that a strange mixture of products at the exit gave a cool dish?
Have I intrigued you enough? Then I will add: none of those who tasted did not understand on their own that it was... Pancakes!
So, we take:
- Can of corn
- Egg
- Wheat flour (how much dough will eat)
- Bacon slice
- Chili flakes (for hot)
- Fresh greens (we like tastier ones?)
How we cook:
We dry my greens well (we do not need water), then we cut or chop with an inspired hefty kitchen cleaver. We leave the blender in the drawer, the blender is not the place where such a dish is prepared. Well, at the same time we are training to chop meat (lately I have been inspired by the idea of switching from “twisted” minced meat to “chopped”).
Break the egg into a bowl and knead.
We drain the liquid from a jar of corn, pour its contents over the herbs and the egg.
Finely chop (or chop) the bacon, and put it in a bowl... And to it - flour to make the dough thick pancake, and chili flakes for fiery spiciness, and salt (how without it?), And a couple of tablespoons of water.
We put the pan on a high heat, warm it up, and, having molded either pancakes or flat cakes (depending on how thick the dough is) and put them on our hot pan ...
Fry for 1 minute on each side
That's all the wisdom! You can serve with whatever comes handy (from sauces). I had lime sauce, but I'll say right away - it may seem superfluous to someone, because the dish tastes very rich.
Bon Appetit!
