Top 5 dishes children loved in Soviet kindergartens

Prepare your slippers, I, like many representatives of my generation, once again longingly remember the yummy that we were once fed. And all because now you open Facebook - and there is sheer grief and disappointment, parents complain that the food in kindergartens is poor.

I haven't noticed. And my son went to kindergarten, while at the same time he did not complain about the diet, and my daughter eats there, does not be capricious (but she is just mastering the kindergarten, everything is new to her and everything is curious). Although both kinders are more than fastidious in food: almost something goes wrong and not on them, their noses will turn away only on the way!

If you listen to those who recall the USSR on the Web, then there the children in kindergartens did not eat at all. Terrible boiled milk, soups from rotten vegetables and mashed potatoes from sprouted potatoes - these are the horrors awaited in kindergartens for unfortunate kids.

Oh, is it? I made a small survey on my Facebook on the topic "What food did you like most in kindergarten."

The results, by the way, were not surprising (approximately this list was supposed)

And in the first place was... She, casserole!

Cottage cheese casserole, which was given either with sour cream or condensed milk.

Honestly, no matter how much I tried to repeat this casserole at home, it does not work for me and that's it! Probably, the oven for cooking it is not what you need, you need an oven, the same one that kitchens at public catering establishments are equipped with.

Second place - kindergarten omelet.

It is mentioned as often as the curd casserole and... I still try to repeat it, and as vainly as the casserole.

The kindergarten omelet was dense, but tender enough, it did not fall off and kept its shape perfectly. And he was also so rosy! Most likely, for such a result, again, an "industrial" oven is needed, because nothing like that comes out in a home oven. Even in convection mode. Such a... disappointment.

Third place - puree

The same thing that frightens modern children and adolescents. Like, they made it out of do not understand what kind of potatoes, only suitable for feeding pigs, boiled it almost unwashed and pounded with a peel.

In fact, this is a lie.

Delicate mashed potatoes, which "adorned" the pool of melted real butter, still cause an acute attack of nostalgia for most of those who are familiar with the kindergarten of Soviet times.

Fourth place: cutlet

I have repeatedly mentioned tunics from the school cafeteria, but for some reason Destadik's tunics did not come to mind. But they were very similar - juicy inside, fried outside. I called them “cutlets in straw” because of the strange breading, which sometimes contained fractions resembling a crushed stalk of grass. Perhaps the bran was used for breading. Don't be alarmed - now bran breading will cost you more than white croutons breading. All because a healthy lifestyle!

And the cutlets were delicious! And they even had meat.

Fifth place - a combined team with jelly at the head

It so happened that many dishes compete for the fifth place in terms of the number of references. Lazy stuffed cabbage rolls and lazy dumplings (by the way, I got a recipe for lazy dumplings from a kindergarten cook and they are really cool!), Pea soup with crackers, fried fish (in our kindergarten they didn't give it, there were meatballs or cutlets from fish), semolina porridge and... tadam, His Majesty jelly!
