Today I want to share the recipe for the Berkh potato soup, serve it with meat and hot flatbread, you can boil dumplings if you wish. This is a delicious lunch made from simple, affordable ingredients. It is simple to prepare, and most importantly, it turns out very tasty and satisfying. I am sure all the ingredients will be at your fingertips.

Recipe:

Meat on the bone -1 kg.

Salt -1 tsp

Bay leaf -2-3pcs.

Onion -1pc.

Water -2-2.5l

Potatoes -1kg.

Carrots -1 pc.

Onion -1pc.

Cream -150ml.

Yolk -1pc.

Butter -30 gr.

Greens to taste

Salt to taste

Black pepper - to taste

Cooking method

First, let's boil the meat. Put meat on the bone in a saucepan, I have beef. We put to cook on fire. I drain the first water after the meat has boiled for 5-7 minutes. Then I wash the meat, fill it with hot water, add salt, bay leaf, onion and cook until cooked for about 1.5 hours. Or depending on what kind of meat you will cook.

Boil the potatoes at the same time. Take a saucepan, put 1 kg of peeled potatoes. Fill with water, add some salt to the potatoes and cook until tender.

Simultaneously cooking meat and potatoes, prepare the frying. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, cut the onion into cubes. Pour vegetable oil into the pan, put onion and fry until translucent, add carrots.

We fry everything together for a couple of minutes. Now we take a ladle of broth and pour into the onion with carrots and simmer until the vegetables are ready.
Drain the potatoes. Turn into mashed potatoes with a potato grinder, add about 30 grams of butter, 1 yolk. Then add 150 ml of cream, I have 20% fat, you can replace it with milk. Now we add the frying.

We take out the finished meat from the broth, gradually add the broth to the potatoes and mix. Someone likes thick berkh, someone more liquid.

Therefore, control the consistency as desired. We love not quite liquid, but not too much. Chop the greens and add to the potatoes, black pepper if desired. Stir the berkh ready.

Cut the meat into pieces, pour the berkh into plates and serve everything together to the table. Additionally, you can boil dumplings.
