What does a cookie that costs so much look like? Photographed and share with you.
Recently I was in a wholesale store and just before leaving I came across a counter selling stale goods. Among other things, I found there cookies, which, even with the discount, were expensive. And without a discount - VERY EXPENSIVE.
I had been looking at this cookie back in winter, when it first appeared in this store, but I was not ready to buy at full price. And when I saw the discount, I could not resist and bought it. The total cost of a box of cookies is 799 rubles, but I got it for 549 rubles. Let's show you what such an expensive cookie looks like.
The cookie packaging is pretty simple. The bright yellow color of the box draws attention to itself. On the front side there is a transparent window through which you can see that each cookie is wrapped in its own wrapper.
The front of the box says it contains a total of 145 grams of cookies. If you count it, it turns out that 1 kilogram of such a cookie costs 5510 rubles (no discount). Does it contain gold? Let's show you what's inside the box.
In addition to the cardboard packaging, the cookies are sealed in a plastic bag. Inside the package are 8 huge cookies wrapped like candy. In a wrapper, the cookies seem incredibly light. It's time to take a look at the cookie itself.
And here the first disappointment awaited me. Inside the giant candy wrapper were tiny cookies sealed in plastic. Just look at this little misunderstanding. Hopefully the taste of this cookie is worth the money.
As soon as I opened the plastic wrap, the bright scent of lemon hit my nose. The cookies are soft and crumbly. In the mouth, it literally melts on the tongue. In addition to the bright lemon, almonds are felt in the taste. This intense lemon aroma is difficult to achieve without the use of flavors. It's time to take a look at the composition.
And then I was in for a second disappointment. No, the composition of the cookies is excellent. Even for the bright scent of lemon, you can not worry, here it is achieved due to the essential oil. If you carefully read the composition, you will notice that there are only 2% of almonds in it, and the remaining 36% are apricot pits.
Apricot kernels have a bitter taste, unlike almonds, but most importantly, the kernels are several times cheaper. I did not expect that in such expensive cookies, almonds would be replaced with apricot pits. Although, perhaps, it was conceived, but then why such a high cost? It's time to summarize.
The cookie disappointed me. Even though it is delicious, I was greatly annoyed by the fact that almonds were replaced with apricot pits. If I had read this before buying, I probably wouldn't even buy.
Do you read the composition before buying?
