I bought unusual watermelons of the Konnichiva and Savin taste varieties grown in Moscow on the Internet. I tell you what is unusual about them.
Recently I came across an advertisement for an unusual watermelon on the Internet. A watermelon with the inscription “Konnichiva” was looking at me from the banner. I had never heard of this before. I was surprised by the color of this watermelon: outside it is yellow, and inside it is red.
The second point that surprised me is that these watermelons are grown in Moscow. Agroholding Moskovsky is engaged in cultivation. Previously, I met only cucumbers and tomatoes from this manufacturer, but it turns out that they also grow watermelons.
When I ordered it, it turned out that you can only buy a set of 4 different watermelons. I didn't like this, as it deprives me of a choice. But for a test purchase, such a set is more interesting. Let me show you what was delivered to me.
The watermelons were delivered in a cardboard box covered with polyethylene. Upon receipt, I realized that all the watermelons are tiny. When ordering, I did not pay attention to the fact that each watermelon weighs from 800 to 1100 grams. It's time to check their weight.
By weight, everything converges. My watermelons weighed from 890 to 1075 grams. The berries are very tiny and beautiful. True, one of the 4 watermelons looks more like a pumpkin, maybe it's really a pumpkin? It's time to cut open and see what's inside.
I was most interested in the Konnichiva watermelon, so I cut it first. The inside of the watermelon is red, but you can't call it bright. There are small bones in white and black. The rind is thick enough. Now it's the turn of the green watermelon.
As soon as I lightly pressed the Savin taste watermelon with my knife, it split in half. The inside of the watermelon is about the same color as Konnichiwa. There are obviously more seeds here. The texture of the watermelon was more uniform. I can't wait to taste what they taste like.
Both watermelons were delicious. Both are sweet, but Savin tastes more juicy. And Konnichiva, on the contrary, is more sugar-rich, due to which it melts in the mouth. The smell of these watermelons is not strong, it cannot be compared with ordinary varieties. It's time to take stock.
To my surprise, the watermelons grown in Moscow turned out to be very tasty. I was pleasantly pleased that I did not have to pay extra for delivery. But I can assume that it was simply included in the cost of the kit. Still, 1000 rubles for 4 kilograms of watermelons is a lot.
The only thing I didn't like was that there is no way to choose which watermelons to buy. But despite this, I will order more from them.
Did you know about the existence of such watermelons?
