I am sharing a detailed recipe on how to make sweet popcorn at home.

The longer the cinemas are closed, the more I want to go to the movies. Of course, you can watch a movie at home, but going to the cinema has its own magic. A huge screen and a bucket of popcorn at hand.

I recently decided to arrange a family screening of a film at home and wanted to try to recreate the atmosphere of a cinema. I didn't want to go to the store for popcorn, so I made it out of handy products.

I liked the result. The croutons are crispy, and due to the sweet caramel they are also incredibly tasty. Let's cook!

Step-by-step recipe for making sweet bread popcorn

I cut the bread into cubes with scissors.

Toast bread works best, but you can use a regular sliced loaf as well.

I fry the bread in a hot frying pan until it becomes croutons.

Now I'm going to make caramel.

I bring sugar with water to a boil and cook until amber.

Add oil and mix quickly until smooth. I pour in hot cream and stir quickly, cook for 2-3 minutes.

I pour in crackers and mix. I spread it on parchment and leave to cool.

Now is the time to turn on your favorite movie and enjoy it along with sweet popcorn.
