I saw a beautiful box of expensive cookies in the store. I could not resist and bought it. It turned out that one cookie from this box costs 75 rubles.

I love sweets and always try to try something new. I have already tried most of the available desserts and are gradually starting to taste expensive ones. Sometimes the high cost is justified by quality ingredients or unique design. But more often, manufacturers just raise the price.

This time I have a cookie on my review, which costs 599 rubles per 150 grams, or almost 4000 rubles per kilogram. I always try to compare prices per kilogram. This is more objective.

Apparently the cookies were sold badly for Christmas, since they made such a big discount

The most offensive thing is that when I bought this cookie, it cost 599 rubles. But literally a week later they made a discount on it and the price was 199 rubles. I could have saved 400 rubles, but who knew. Okay, let's see what the packaging looks like.

The box is made of thick cardboard and looks very nice. The obverse says that the cookies are made by hand according to the original family recipe. It's difficult to check, so you have to take their word for it. Below there is an inscription “Merry Christmas” (“Merry Christmas”), apparently, these cookies were made especially for the holiday.

But Christmas was 6 months ago, and if we take into account that the cookies are made in the UK (where Christmas is celebrated on December 25), then all 7 months. I wonder what is the shelf life of these cookies.

And the cookie shelf life is impressive - 12 months. Let's take a look at the composition.

Honestly, when I bought cookies, I did not expect to find plant substitutes in the composition. Still, at such a high price, you can afford not to add margarine. Although the rest of the composition of the cookies is excellent. Let me open the box and show you what's inside.

There are 8 cookies in the package. It turns out that each costs 75 rubles. For that kind of money, you can buy large piece cookies in a cafe. And here is such a not rosy and nondescript cookie at all, in my opinion. I hope it tastes good at least.

And the taste is really pleasing. The bright orange aroma pairs well with the crumbly texture of the cookie. And the pieces of chocolate complement it perfectly. It's time to summarize.

The cookie turned out to be delicious even though it looked. It is packed in a beautiful box, by the way, the wife asked her not to throw it away, she wants to make something interesting out of it. But the cost of cookies is clearly overpriced. At this price, I would not buy it a second time.

What expensive sweets do you buy most often?
