I tell you how to become a pastry chef and how much you can earn by making cakes at home.

5 years ago I made my first custom-made dessert. It was ordered by my aunt Lena for her birthday. To prepare it, I probably searched the entire Internet in search of a recipe. But finding the recipe was not the most difficult. When I started to cook, I faced a number of difficulties.

As you can see in the photo, this is a mousse cake covered with mirror glaze. At that time, such cakes were only gaining popularity, and there was no information about them.

I still remember how I redid the mirror glaze 5 times, as the result did not suit me. In addition, the filling for the cake froze crookedly and obliquely for me, and when defrosting, it began to flow altogether. I didn't know what to do.

In the end, I somehow collected my first cake and handed it to my aunt. I did not ask for money for it, as I was worried that no one would like the cake. But after the celebration, my aunt informed me that her colleagues liked the dessert and they would soon order another order from me.

And she didn't lie. A week later, 3 of her colleagues immediately contacted me with orders for desserts. On the one hand, I was happy, but on the other, I had 3 orders, but I had no experience at all, and most importantly, there were no recipes for those desserts that I agreed to cook.

It's good that I had 2 weeks to make and I managed to work through the ordered cakes. After these orders, new ones appeared, then more and more. Literally 4 months later, I began to earn about 20,000 rubles a month on cakes, despite the fact that I did not promote myself in any way.
