Hello everyone, you are on the Dessertny Bunbich channel, and I am its author - Andrey Bunbich.
46 thousand people have already subscribed to my channel in Zen, and more than 1.1 million readers read it a month. Since there are so many of you, I decided to tell a little about myself.
I have been blogging for over two years now, I started in June 2018. Then I was engaged in the manufacture of desserts to order. I worked for myself and made cakes and desserts for various events.
He started as a home confectioner, then began to work with corporate orders and rented a workshop. I already talked about this separately (I will leave links at the end of the article). In those days, with an incomplete load, I earned at least 30,000 rubles a month.
For Moscow, the money is small, but it was not my only source of income, so I did not complain. In parallel with my work, I decided to start my own blog. I started with small notes on social networks, and then came to Zen.
At first, nothing worked, and I even abandoned the channel. But after a while, I resumed the blog and since then I release one piece a day. Through monetization, I began to receive income from Zen. And over time, I decided to stop taking orders for cakes, and here's why.
Giving up on a stable income wasn't easy. I got married and a son was already born, and this is always an additional financial burden. But I began to notice more and more that I was reluctant to start work. Making the same desserts to order became unbearably boring and no longer fun.
On the other hand, I had a blog for which I was preparing something new every week. I waited for this time all week and happily started shooting recipes. At the end of 2019, I thought about completely abandoning making desserts to order.
I gradually stopped taking orders for cakes and increased the amount of blog posts. But I finally made my decision on my birthday when I turned 33.
I stopped taking orders and initially lost some of my income, but I started spending more time with my family. I was able to pay more attention to the work on the blog, and it paid off.
I was invited to NTV for filming in the program "Live Food", and I was able to participate. Previously, I simply would not have had enough time. He began to edit short videos for TikTok and in a couple of months he swung the blog to 100,000 subscribers. During the quarantine, he conducted a live broadcast there, which TikTok broadcast from the main page.
As for the money. I recently spoke at a blogging event and, when I was preparing for it, I calculated how much I received from the blog and it turned out that the amount had already exceeded a million (for the entire period). These are not all my achievements, I do not like to brag.
In the end, I want to share my goals, what I want to achieve.
I want to develop Instagram to 100 thousand subscribers, now there are a little more than 9000 of them, by the way, subscribe if you have not had time yet.
Start producing videos. I've been filming all the recipes for a long time, but I don't have time to edit them yet. First, I plan to make one video a week and increase it to 3 in the future.
Get knowledge of a pastry chef-technologist. Recently, I get more and more kicks when I manage to understand the chemical processes that go on during cooking. What reactions are going on, what is changing and so on. Now I am studying on the course of Yulia Bakova (I recommend her course to everyone).
I want to finish with a global goal - to build a house and move there as a family. I hope that by that time the family will have not only a son, but also a daughter, and maybe one more son. Better both.
And the most important thing. I want to thank all of you who subscribed and read my blog, and those who did not subscribe, but still read, too. I am glad that I have you, I will continue to try to please you all with new and understandable recipes.
P.S. Before my micro goal of 10,000 followers on Instagram, there is already a little bit left, so if you are not subscribed - subscribe and tell your friends and acquaintances about me, maybe one of them also wants to cook desserts.
