Today I will cook a very tasty hot dish or hot snack. An unusual and interesting, real riddle for home :)

I cut one large onion into half rings.

I put the onion in a bowl and salt it right there. I remember very well with my hands to let the onion juice.

I add 2 eggs.

Two tablespoons of vegetable oil.

Add a little lemon zest if you like.

I squeeze the juice of half a large lemon.

I stir and add 5 tablespoons of flour. If the batter is too thick, you can add 1-2 tablespoons of water.

I cut each chicken heart, but not completely. So that it "opens".

I send the hearts to the batter, mix them. Leave it to marinate for 1 hour.

I will cook in a skillet with a thick bottom, over medium heat, without a lid.

Pickled hearts are perfectly roasted inside, while remaining soft and tender.

I take off on a paper towel and serve it to the table!

An absolutely delicious, tasty and very unusual dish. Few people will guess that these are hearts :) Delicate inside, with a slightly crunchy dough with a pleasant lemon sourness. Will disperse like hot cakes :)

  • 600 gr chicken hearts
  • 1 onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp rast. oils
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 1 tsp lemon peel
  • 5 tbsp flour
  • salt
  • 1-2 tbsp water if necessary
