Ingredients:

  • mussels in oil - 200 g
  • cherry tomatoes - 200 g
  • onion - 1/2 pc.
  • lettuce leaves - bunch
  • dill - bunch
  • black bread - 3 slices
  • lemon juice - 1-2 tbsp. l.
  • garlic - 1 clove
  • salt - 1/2 tsp l.

Step by step recipe

1. First, let's prepare all the ingredients for the salad.


Cut 200 g cherry tomatoes into quarters. You can also use regular tomatoes.
Cut a bunch of lettuce leaves into smaller pieces.

2. Cut one onion in half and cut it into thin half rings.
We only need half an onion. Grind a small bunch of dill.

3. We take three slices of black bread, I have already dried it in the toaster and rub it with garlic on all sides. You can also dry the bread a little in a pan. Cut the croutons into small cubes. I use black bread with seeds. Borodino bread is also well suited for this salad.

4. Put chopped lettuce leaves on the bottom of a large flat plate. The diameter of my plate is 25 cm. Put chopped tomatoes on the salad.
Distribute the chopped onion on top. We also put 200 g of pickled mussels in oil here. Add garlic croutons. Sprinkle the salad with chopped dill on top.

5. Cooking salad dressing.
We take 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in which there were mussels and pour about 0.5 tsp into it. salt. We squeeze out 1-2 tablespoons here. lemon juice. We mix everything.

6. Pour the prepared dressing evenly on top of the salad. You don't need to stir the salad.
The salad is ready, you can serve it on the table.
