I am preparing a very simple dish, a hearty meal for the whole family. Potato casserole or pie in a skillet.
I cut four medium potatoes into smaller pieces and send them to cook.
Chop a bunch of green onions.
I need a jar of canned fish, I have pink salmon. I previously drained the liquid, knead the fish with a fork.
I knead the potatoes with a crush. I like to keep small pieces, so I don't try hard :).
Salt and pepper potatoes, I did not salt potatoes when cooking.
I add fish and green onions.
And three large eggs. I mix everything well.
I warm up the frying pan, pour in the vegetable oil and spread the potatoes, level them. I cover the pan with a lid. I cook over low heat for about 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, cover the pan with a plate and turn the casserole onto a plate.
I add some vegetable oil to the pan and gently push the pie back into the pan.
I again cover with a lid and bring it to readiness over low heat. It took me 10 minutes.
The pie is ready, you can serve it!
The result is a delicious, aromatic potato pie or casserole with fish and herbs. Delicious with sour cream. Bon Appetit!
