Jacket potatoes baked in the oven - versatile, easy to prepare, everyone's favorite dish. It is convenient to prepare it for a family dinner, or you can safely put it on a festive table.

Appetizing potatoes with a golden crust will not leave anyone indifferent. In addition, this is a hearty dish that men happily eat as a side dish with strong alcoholic drinks.

Ingredients:

Potatoes - 600 g

Lard - 50 g

Sea salt - to taste

Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.

Preparation:

1. To cook potatoes baked in their uniforms in the oven, prepare all the ingredients on the list. Pick the tubers of approximately the same size, then they will cook at the same time. We wash them under running water with a kitchen brush or a clean sponge for washing dishes, the hard side of it. Lard is optional, but the finished dish with crispy cracklings is much tastier.

2. Thoroughly washed potatoes should be dried with a paper towel and placed in a convenient heat-resistant baking dish.

3. Drizzle over the potato tubers with unscented refined vegetable oil.

4. Each potato must be well greased with oil on all sides. To do this, I put on a disposable glove, it is easier to do with it, and then I don't have to wash my hands for a long time. We heat the oven to a temperature of 200 degrees in convection mode. Put the potatoes in the oven and cook for 20 minutes.

5. After a while, we take out the potatoes from the oven, turn them over to the other side so that they cook equally. We send it back to the oven for 20 minutes.

6. Cut the bacon into thin slices, put it on top of the potatoes, if it's fresh, add a little salt. Put back in the oven for another five minutes. During this time, the fat will be melted, and you will have delicious and crunchy cracklings.

7. If you want to leave it in the form in which the dish was baked, then drain the excess fat from the bottom and serve. Alternatively, transfer the prepared potatoes to a plate and serve as a side dish with any meat dish.

Don't forget homemade canned vegetables in winter or fresh cucumber and tomato salad in summer.
