Potatoes with champignons in the oven is a hearty, easy-to-prepare dish that can be served as a side dish, or as an independent one. In addition, this dish can be prepared for a family lunch or dinner, even put it safely on the festive table, guests always eat it with pleasure, especially men with strong alcoholic drinks.
Ingredients:
Potatoes - 500 g
Fresh champignons - 250 g
Bulb onions - 0.5 pcs.
Hard cheese - 100 g
Fatty sour cream - 2 tablespoons
Mayonnaise (optional) - 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Ch.m. pepper - taste
Preparation:
1. To cook potatoes with mushrooms in the oven, prepare the foods according to the list. Peel, wash, dry the potatoes and onions. In no case should you wash mushrooms, this is a natural sponge that will absorb a large amount of liquid. Take a clean kitchen sponge and use the hard side to scrape off any remaining compost. Sometimes, when I don't feel like playing with this process for a long time, I just peel off the skin from the mushroom caps.
2. Cut the potatoes lengthwise into quarters or thin slices, place in a deep bowl, add the onions, cut into half rings.
3. Cut the mushrooms lengthwise into two or four pieces (depending on their size), add to the vegetables in a bowl, season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Now add the fatty sour cream. If you are not afraid of extra calories, mix it in half with mayonnaise, this will make the dish tastier and more satisfying. Stir the contents of the bowl thoroughly so that all the ingredients are covered in the dressing.
5. Transfer everything to a baking dish, cover with foil, so the mushrooms will juice faster and the potatoes will cook faster. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees, place the dish in it and cook under the foil for at least 30 minutes. Young potatoes cook faster, while old ones may take a little longer.
6. After a while, remove the form with potatoes from the oven, pierce one slice with a knife, if it is soft, sprinkle generously on the dish grated hard cheese, turn on the convection mode, return the dish back to the oven and let the cheese brown for minutes ten.
7. Soft, tasty potatoes with mushrooms with a brown cheese crust are ready. Enjoy!
