White cabbage is a very versatile product. What is not prepared from it! Stew, fry, bake, cook soups, borscht, cabbage soup, cabbage rolls with it - all dishes are simply incredibly tasty and loved. And quite recently, I discovered a new recipe, very interesting in taste - pancakes from this useful and inexpensive product.
To be honest, I didn’t even suspect that it could be so delicious. White cabbage fritters are soft, juicy, slightly crispy, nourishing and very cute in appearance.
I will say more, even my domestic men ate them, which, in principle, is impossible. Make sure to try these pancakes, they can be breakfast, lunch or family dinner.
Ingredients:
White cabbage - 300 g
Green onions - 20 g
Chicken egg - 1 pc.
Flour - 3 tablespoons
Grated hard cheese - 3 tbsp.
Sour cream - 2 tablespoons
Salt to taste
Ch.m. pepper - taste
Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.
Parsley - for serving
Preparation:
1. Prepare foods from the list. Wash and dry the vegetables. It is desirable that the egg and sour cream be at room temperature by the time of cooking, and, of course, for these pancakes, take young cabbage, with it they will turn out to be as tasty and juicy as possible.
2. Chop the cabbage on the thinnest possible grater, put it in a deep bowl, add finely chopped green onions. You do not need to replace it with onion, it will not have time to cook and will stand out and dominate in taste in finished pancakes, but this should not be.
3. Grate delicious hard cheese on a coarse grater, add it to a bowl of cabbage.
4. Now add a large chicken egg, sour cream and wheat flour. Salt and pepper the mixture to taste.
5. Mix the cabbage dough thoroughly. The density is clearly visible in the photo, it should not be liquid or too thick.
6. Heat the minimum amount of refined vegetable oil in a pan, spread it out in full a tablespoon of cabbage dough and bake pancakes until tender and a beautiful golden brown crust on both parties.
7. Serve ready-made cabbage pancakes with sour cream or low-fat natural yogurt.
