The most popular fast food thing is, of course, pizza. Its options are diverse. Everyone will be able to find their favorite combination to their taste and color, ranging from the shape of the pizza, the thickness of the dough and ending with various combinations of toppings.
One of the most affordable options, especially for those who do homemade preparations, is pizza with pickles.
Its taste will be brighter if canned cucumbers are pre-fried. The pizza according to this recipe (with the preparation of the dough) is obtained with a thin base, an alluring ruddy crust and a juicy filling.
Ingredients:
For the test:
Water - 125 ml
Dry yeast - 1.25 tsp l.
Sugar - 1 tsp l.
Salt - 0.5 tsp l.
Wheat flour - 240 g
Olive oil - 1 tbsp. l.
For filling:
Canned cucumber - 3 pcs.
Canned tomatoes - 5 pcs.
Onions - 60 g
Hard cheese - 150 g
Ground coriander - 0.33 tsp l.
A mixture of Provencal herbs - 1 tsp l.
Chicken egg - 1 pc.
Preparation:
Step 1: Prepare the required ingredients for the dough. It can be used ready-made from the store, thereby shortening the pizza preparation time. But it is important to remember that the result largely depends on how successful the dough turned out to be.
Step 2: Dissolve dry yeast in water at a comfortable temperature for them. Add salt and granulated sugar. Dissolve them.
Step 3: First add half of the pre-sifted wheat flour. To stir thoroughly. Then add the remaining volume. Flour will be spent 200-240 g (depending on gluten), but no more. The dough will be very sticky (see texture for consistency). Photo).
Step 4: Drizzle with olive (1 tbsp. l.) or any other oil without a pronounced odor. Knead the smooth dough for 10 minutes, rolling it up from the edges to the middle. When finished, it easily rolls into a ball, lagging behind the walls of the bowl, and does not stick to your hands.
Step 5: Cover the bowl with the dough with cling film and leave to rise for 30 minutes in a warm place.
Step 6: While the dough is right, you can start making the filling. Prepare the required ingredients.
Step 7: Cut the onions into small cubes. Coarsely chopped vegetables are more difficult to coat evenly.
Step 8: Cut canned cucumbers (10–12 cm in size) into quarters 2-3 mm thick.
Step 9: Preheat the pan. Add a small amount of olive oil. Fry the prepared onion until transparent.
Step 10: Add prepared pickles and a mixture of Provencal herbs to the pan, mix. Fry for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool the prepared vegetable mixture.
Step 11: On a coarse grater, grate any hard or semi-hard cheese.
Step 12: Remove the skin from canned tomatoes, knead the pulp. Beat in a chicken egg and add ground coriander. Beat with a whisk until smooth.
Step 13: Put a thin layer of olive oil on a baking sheet. Slightly knead the dough that has come up and stretch immediately on a baking sheet into a rectangular layer. It spreads very easily with your fingers.
Step 14: On top of the workpiece, evenly spread ½ the volume of grated cheese. For lovers of bread crust, leave the edges of the dough free of filling.
Step 15: Spread the pickles fried with onions evenly on the cheese layer.
Step 16: Spread the egg and tomato sauce over the surface of the vegetables and sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese.
Step 17: Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the pizza for 15–20 minutes. Focus on a rosy appetizing crust.
Step 18: Cut the finished pizza into convenient pieces and serve.
Before baking, you can grease the crumb of dough, which is without filling, with whipped yolk, lightly adding salt.
You can serve pizza with pickles both hot and cold.
