Lovers of semolina will like this dessert and will definitely be on the list of favorites. A very fragrant, delicious semolina pie on kefir with a baked crust on the bottom and incredible softness inside, ideal for tea drinking.
You can cook it not only in a multicooker, but also in the oven.
When choosing semolina, give preference to durum wheat groats. In the package, the grains should be yellowish and stick together.
Take kefir for the recipe from 1.5% fat. You can also make baked goods at home. After all, the fatter the kefir, the tastier the cake will be.
Ingredients:
Semolina - 250 gr.
Kefir 2.5% - 500 ml
Chicken eggs - 2 pcs.
Sugar - 90 gr.
Raisins - 100 gr.
Vanillin - 10 gr.
Baking powder - 1 tsp l.
Butter - 10 gr.
Salt - a pinch
Preparation:
1. Prepare all the required ingredients according to the list.
2. Pour the kefir into a deep bowl and add the semolina. The fermented milk product should be at room temperature.
3. Stir well until smooth and leave for 10-15 minutes to allow the semolina to swell.
4. Separate the yolks from the whites, add sugar, vanillin and beat until lather with a whisk or fork. Make sure the sugar is completely dissolved and add the yolk mixture to the semolina.
5. Mix everything again. Add a pinch of salt to the egg whites and beat until peaks with a whisk. You can substitute lemon juice for salt. Next, add the proteins in portions to the rest of the ingredients.
6. Mix gently. Soak the raisins in boiling water for 10 minutes, let dry and add to the dough.
7. Mix everything until smooth. At this stage, you can add sifted wheat or rice flour. We will cook in a slow cooker, but you can also bake a pie in the oven. Grease a bowl from a multicooker with butter (you can replace it with coconut or vegetable oil) and pour in the dough, evenly distributing it over the shape.
8. Close the lid of the multicooker and put on the "Bake" mode for 60 minutes. After the time has elapsed, open the lid and let the baked goods cool slightly.
9. Next, remove the finished semolina pie from the bowl, cut into pieces and serve.
Before serving the dessert, the manna can be decorated with: chopped nuts, coconut, whipped cream, melted chocolate, sweet sauces, condensed milk, honey, jam, chopped fruit or berries.
As for drinks, the best combination would be with hot chocolate or fermented baked milk. You can also make berry tea, cocoa with marshmallows, coffee with milk, currant, cherry and orange compote.
