Ruddy potatoes baked on a baking sheet in the oven is a dish for fast food lovers that is worthy even of a festive table. Soaked through with delicious aromas, with an oiled crust and tender inside - you can eat a huge portion of it at a time.

Both new potatoes and old ones are prepared. The first can only be thoroughly washed and scrubbed, the second is better to clean. Feel free to experiment with a set of seasonings, mix fragrant, hot and coloring spices at your discretion.

Ingredients:

Potatoes - 1000 g

Vegetable oil - 30 ml

Smoked paprika - 10 g

Garlic - 2 teeth

Dried rosemary and basil to taste

Salt, black pepper - to taste

Step by step recipe:

Step 1 - To bake potatoes on a baking sheet in the oven, in addition to the products indicated on the list, take parchment. First of all, wash the root vegetables, peel, dry slightly. Any refined oil that does not smoke when frying / baking is suitable.

Step 2 - Cut the peeled potato tubers into short sticks of approximately the same thickness - different sizes require different cooking times. Too coarse slices soften longer, please note.

Step 3 - First, sprinkle the potato sticks with corn, olive or sunflower oil. For convenience, dip the potatoes in a bowl, add oil, stir, and coat each bite with lean fat.

Step 4 - Then season with a large pinch of salt, ground basil, dry rosemary needles, smoked paprika, which colors with a beautiful shade and gives an appetizing taste. Turn the potato chunks over from bottom to top again - distribute the flavors evenly.

Step 5 - Cover the baking sheet with a sheet of baking paper. Place the potatoes seasoned with oil and spices evenly in one layer. Cover with a dome of foil or a second sheet of parchment (no sealing, loose) and send to the oven, which is hot by that time. After 15 minutes, remove the foil. First, the cubes will be steamed, then they will brown and dry without foil. Bake the potatoes on a baking sheet in the oven for a total of about 30 minutes at 180 degrees.

Step 6 - Sprinkle the finished potatoes with chopped black pepper and garlic passed through a press. Stir.

Step 7 - Serve mouth-watering homemade fast food - spiced potatoes - hot with your favorite sauce.
